Elmer Mortensen started Mortensens in 1915. He delivered milk door to door with a horse and wagon. 108 years and 4 generations later, we are proud to still be a family-owned business.

At Mortensen Dairy Ice Cream, we offer premium home- made ice cream all year round! Our extensive flavor list includes roughly 50 flavors on any given day and we offer rotating seasonal favorites such as Georgia Peach, Fresh Blueberry and Native Strawberry in the summer, Old Fashion Apple and Native Pumpkin in the fall, and Rum Raisin, Egg Nog and Peppermint Stick in the winter! We are proud and excited to have been voted as best ice cream by all of our customers who we consider family. For 109 years, thank you for letting our family serve yours!
